On request we changed the firmware for the BBK985s to have the blueish silver remote and fat remote code.

This has been tested and gives you a new firmware with several improvements on the last official firmware.

- Added a new item selection skin (5 skin)
- Support SCART / RGB
- Audio channel switch delay removed
- Show the number and format of the audio track
- Fixed bug with no zoom
- Added to the next folder on the end of this play

With thanks to andy from BBK985S

ISO firmware image 070930 for BBK OPDV971H-E blueish usa style and big fat remote DO NOT USE, LOOK at next POST

Default remote is black fat, switch to blueish silver by pressing stop 10 seconds when drive is empty. You should see "old rc".

Today I tried to upgrade the player that had the above mentioned firmware, but it had the nifty problem of the upgrade file that needs to be called BBK985S.BIN instead of 935.BIN.

So here are two iso files:
To fix the player from saying "invalid file" (requiring BBK985S.bin but having 935.bin on the upgrade cd)
iso bbk985s.binto935.bin

After that or in case you have an original oppo firmware:
And the most up to date tested firmware with OPPO logo:
OPDV971RV071001.iso

Almost thought I was fubar-ed...

Running 930 (?) Revo edition with the old remote. Al I had to do was switch back to region 0 since the player had switched to 1.

Quote:

You are already in the place to change the region code. Once you press 9210 in the SETUP, press number 0 - 6 to set the regional code, "0" for regional free.

I have a big problem. I canīt downgrade with the bluish remote from this firmware.
I tried to press the stop button for 10 seconds, but nothing happened.
So I decided to change to another firmware, but when I want to update I canīt find the play button, because the keys are not working with my remote.
Pls help me!

Well of course you have to use the play button on the player itself during the upgrade.

If the upgrade itself is not recognised you have to let me know which firmware you used.

Yeah I noticed that, after I left my comment.

But now I have a problem with the picture quality.
In some scenes the picture seems to jump up and down and to the side a little bit, but it is not always.
I also noticed little white dots in the picture, that are not permanent, but only visible if I use the dvd player.

Do you have any idea what this can be?

Well, try true life on and the rest below it off.

Otherwise reload the old firmware, I do not recognize the problems however.
